Weekly

  • News & Campus Communicators meeting
    A short discussion of the news, events and pending stories coming up for the week and beyond.
    Dates and time: Mondays, 1 p.m.
    Location: Wardlaw Center, VP Conference Room

  • Institute Content Planning Committee

    A meeting to review article and feature ideas, plan campaigns, coordinate coverage, and update status of ongoing efforts.
    Dates and time: Tuesdays, 2 p.m.

  • Design Collaborative 
    Dates and time: Every other Friday, 1:30-3 p.m.

  • SEO Working Group
    Discussion, planning, and strategy for the expansion of institute-wide awareness and buy-in of SEO's role and benefits.

  • Pitch Meetings
    The News Team hosts two different meetings designed to coordinate our story pitches to the media.
    Dates and time: In-person meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, and a conference call is held the third ​Tuesday​ of each month, both at 10:30 a.m.

  • Drupal Drop-in Help Desk Meetings
    Open help desk sessions where you can "bring your Drupal problem," and get help from your peers.
    Dates and time: Second Wednesday and fourth Thursday of each month, 1-3 p.m.

  • Web Governance Working Group
    Discussion and establishment of policies and standards for web content, design, and technology. 
    Date and time: Last Wednesday of every month, 1:30-3 p.m.

  • Drupal community meetings
    Drupal users across campus meet up to discuss the latest trends in Drupal development, Georgia Tech-specific issues and practices, and share projects and development with the community.
    Date and time: Fourth Tuesday of each month, 1-2:30 p.m.

  • Information Technology Advisory Committee

    Promoting best practices and finding solutions to IT issues for the entire campus.
    Date and time: Third Thursday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m.
